Last updated

BluLexi is currently in beta. These policies describe the service as it operates on the effective date and may be updated as the product develops.

About these Terms

These Terms apply when you create a BluLexi account, access the signed-in application, or use its learning and Community features. By creating an account, you agree to this version of the Terms. The Privacy Policy separately explains how BluLexi handles personal information.

Creating and maintaining an account

Provide accurate account information and keep it current. Password accounts require email verification; Google sign-in may be used where available. Keep your sign-in method secure and notify BluLexi promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

Eligibility

You may use BluLexi only when you can lawfully agree to these Terms or have any authorization required where you live. BluLexi has not adopted a universal numeric age threshold for the beta service.

The beta service

BluLexi is actively developing. Features, supported languages, exercises, limits, and availability may change as the beta evolves. Product changes do not remove rights that apply to you under applicable law.

Educational and AI-assisted features

BluLexi provides placement activities, study plans, vocabulary and story practice, writing and speaking feedback, progress tools, and mock exams. Some feedback and learning material is generated or evaluated with automated and AI-assisted systems.

Automated output can be incomplete or wrong. BluLexi scores and feedback are practice aids, not official examination results, professional advice, or a guarantee of any score, admission decision, or learning outcome.

Your submissions and learning content

You retain ownership of original profile text, answers, writing, audio, and other content you submit. You give BluLexi the limited permission needed to host, process, protect, display according to your settings, and use that content to provide and improve the service.

Submit only content you have the right to use, and avoid unnecessary confidential or sensitive information.

Public learner profiles, Community, and leaderboards

New learner profiles are visible and discoverable to other signed-in BluLexi learners by default. You can change profile visibility, discoverability, follower permissions, visible profile sections, and leaderboard participation under Settings → Privacy and discovery.

Community uses an asymmetric follow model: following another learner does not require them to follow you back. Treat other learners respectfully. Do not impersonate, harass, scrape, spam, manipulate rankings, or collect another learner’s information without authorization.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use BluLexi unlawfully or to harm another person.
  • Do not attack accounts, bypass access controls, or probe private data.
  • Do not upload malicious material or interfere with the service.
  • Do not automate scraping or misuse referral, progress, or ranking systems.
  • Do not present BluLexi practice output as an official exam result.

Intellectual property

BluLexi owns or licenses the software, branding, interface, and original platform material. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you. Your original submissions remain yours, subject to the limited operational permission described above.

Third-party services

BluLexi relies on service providers for functions such as Google authentication, transactional email, infrastructure, private file storage, and AI processing. Their services may have their own terms. This does not remove BluLexi’s responsibilities for how it selects and uses providers.

Suspension, termination, and account deletion

BluLexi may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect learners, investigate abuse, comply with law, or address a serious breach of these Terms. You can request account deletion through Settings.

The current deletion process removes user-owned learning and social content and private media, disables the account, and anonymizes retained security audit records linked to that account. Some limited unlinked or non-user-owned records may remain where needed for security, integrity, or legal obligations.

Service availability and changes

BluLexi does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, provider outages, security events, or beta changes may interrupt features. Where appropriate, BluLexi may give reasonable notice of material service changes.

Disclaimers and liability

BluLexi provides the beta service with reasonable care, but automated feedback and practice content may contain errors. To the extent allowed by applicable law, BluLexi is not responsible for indirect losses caused by relying on practice output or by circumstances outside its reasonable control. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these Terms

BluLexi will identify future versions by date and update the last-updated date. Material changes may be communicated in the service or by another appropriate channel. Where a new agreement is legally required, BluLexi will ask for it rather than relying only on silent continued use.

Contact and applicable law

Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected]. These beta Terms do not select a governing jurisdiction. Rights and obligations under applicable law continue to apply.
